WHO I AM: I was born and raised in Pleasant View and have lived here for over 40 years. I attended the local schools here in our city and graduated from Weber High School in 1993. I attended Weber State University and majored in child and family studies with a minor in political science. I love photography, traveling, being with my family and friends, and our community. I have a passion for service and a heart guided by the volunteer spirit. 

FAMILY: I am married to Justin Urry, who is an educator at North Ogden Jr. High School and teaches history and Spanish. We have four children, Kendall, who is currently studying at Ensign College and living in Orem, Tucker who is studying at BYU and living in Provo, Sawye,r who will be a senior at Weber High School, and Harrison, who is a sophomore at Weber High School. 

WORK EXPERIENCE: I am a paraeducator as a reading intervention aide and work at Lomond View Elementary School. I have also been a Branch Operations Supervisor for Washington Federal Savings and a Unit Clerk for Intermountain Health Care. I also own a small photography business. With my employment experience, I have overseen employees,  account balancing, investments, mortgages, employment organization functions, and budgets. For 10 years, I have helped work to organize and implement our city's budget and the functions of departments. I understand the process and have continually worked to be fiscally responsible and prudent with taxpayer funds. 

COMMUNITY AND CIVIC EXPERIENCE: I have a passion for learning, civic engagement, and volunteerism. I have served on the Pleasant View City Council for the past 10 years. I have served our community with various organizations, RAMP, North View Senior Center, Major Brent Taylor Advisory Board, Weber CTC Key Leader Board, our city's youth council, and more. I have been actively engaged in community service since my teenage years.
